Advancing Cybersecurity in Healthcare

Medical Information Security is a relatively new application field of information security in Taiwan, covering related technologies such as network communications, health medicine, and information security. Research directions include authentication protocols applied to medical sensor networks, electronic medical record confidentiality and privacy, etc.

Today, as medical information technology becomes increasingly mature and valued, medical information security demonstrates its brand-new and important research value. Currently, there are still few research teams in Taiwan focusing on this medical-related field. This laboratory is dedicated to filling the technical gap in this field.
